David has taught in the digital design and graphics department at the Columbus State Community College and in many workshop settings, while at the same time exhibiting locally in the Ohio Watercolor Society and nationally at the Bulter Institute of American Art. His work is included in both private and public collections nationwide.
"I’ve always been an artist rooted in the landscape painting tradition. I create colorful abstract landscape paintings that reflect my love of drawing and collage. I work in oils on canvas and also with mixed media on canvas or board using cut and torn paper, acrylic paint, pencil and oil pastels. I often start from a photo reference or a sketch based on an imaginary landscape."
