Susan Morosky trained in painting and sculpture, earning her BFA from Eastern Michigan University. She has also studied in Orvieto, Italy under Graham Nicholson from the New York Studio School.
Her dual training in two and three-dimensional art is apparent in her use of surface and texture. She continuously creates and recreates layers by adding and removing material in her paintings. She sees this process as similar to that of the impact of natural forces upon the physical world.
In 2009, Morosky’s work was highlighted in Architectural Digest. Her work is held in corporate collections nationwide.
