Welcome to Brandt-Roberts Galleries, where we are pleased to bring you over 30 years of experience in the field of fine art. In addition to works by outstanding present-day artists, we also offer a choice selection of historic works ranging from early 20th century impressionism to mid-century modernism. The gallery offers a broad variety of related services such as custom framing, art restoration, and portraiture as well. We serve the needs of a diverse range of clients, including collectors, interior designers, corporate clients, and museums.
Brandt-Roberts Galleries is owned by Michelle Brandt and Bryan Roberts. Michelle began her career in visual arts education and later managed a fine art gallery in Charleston, South Carolina. In 2002 she moved with her husband and two young sons to Columbus, where she served on numerous local arts boards and committees while employed by two Columbus galleries. Bryan began working as a full-time art dealer in 1989 and lived in New Orleans and Chicago before moving with his wife to Columbus in 1991. He owned the Bryan H. Roberts Gallery in the Columbus suburb of Bexley for 15 years before merging it with Brandt-Roberts Galleries in 2011. Bryan is also an oil painter who works in the American impressionist aesthetic and shows his work at the gallery. Bryan and Michelle are assisted at the gallery by Christine D’Epiro Abbott, who is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design and Washington University in St. Louis.
The gallery presents numerous exhibitions during the year, and we are always adding new works to our inventory. We also feature artist workshops and demonstrations periodically and participate in joint ventures with other businesses and meaningful charities. We constantly strive to make Brandt-Roberts Galleries an enjoyable experience and destination for both newcomers and seasoned fine arts enthusiasts.
The gallery is located in the vibrant Short North arts district of downtown Columbus. A number of other galleries are located nearby as well as several outstanding restaurants, both casual and upscale. We are also within easy walking distance of the Columbus Convention Center and adjacent hotels.
